LYTV #5 : The Lightyears supporting the Mystery Jets

21 August 2008, The Lightyears open for Mystery Jets at the Camden Barfly. The gig was raising funds for the Global Exchange programme (run jointly by Voluntary Service Overseas and the British Council).

Look out for some heavy bass lines from the Jets, Vijay and Spense in custom made Lightyearss t-shirts and a good selection of LYs fans in the crowd.

The video contains the song We Keep The Beat Alive.

LYTV #4 : The Lightyears play London Road Stadium

The Lightyears meet Peterborough United and European champions Manchester United at London Road Stadium in Peterborough for the pre-season friendly between the two teams.

The Lightyears were invited to play before the match in the centre circle following a similar gig for the Posh at the last game of the 2007/08 season.

Look out for Rio Ferdinand!

LYTV #3 : The Lightyears at Brightlingsea Festival

The Lightyears play Brightlingsea Festival in Essex, Saturday 2 August 2008. It was the band’s third appearance at the festival.

The video features the song Sleepless.

Also appearing in the video are Emily (from the song) and Danny Morriss (the LYs sound man).

Look out for festival organiser and friend of The Lightyears Alan Day (the chap with the beard, dressed in black).
